Characteristics/Temperament - Mare - All black color, sweetest girl, calm, strong, loves food, loves to run, quick with her turns. One can fall asleep on Mía and she'll take you all the way home without worry.
History - Mía came from a local ranch in San Miguel de Allende and was Joel's first horse. She is truly the boss lady of the ranch. Joel fell in love with her the moment he met her and rode her for the first time. She has that energy that can heal, that mother's touch of grace, and the strength and stability to take you anywhere, any time. Totally bomb proof!

Characteristics/Temperament - Stallion - Dapple Grey with a notable blonde color at the end of his tail skirt. Likes the ladies, a Peacock show off, wants to be the star and is leader of the pack on a trail ride. Fearless but weary of new people until he gets to know them.
History - Apache was born in Georgia and came to México when he was a young colt. He is AQH registered and a pure American Quarter Horse who comes from a 'Charro' line of working horses. He was trained by a famous arrendador and friend in a small town called Juventino Rosas. After seeing Apache in person and learning that he was available, Joel told his friend that he had to have him. Apache being the lone stallion at SoTeZ, knows he has a great responsibility to lead the other horses. Whether facing stray dogs, snakes, or other stray horses on the trail, Apache is courageous. As beautiful as he is, he is equally noble.

Characteristics/Temperament - Gelding - Golden Palomino, tall, funny, playful, likes to horseplay (pun intended), will stick his tongue out at you! Loves to eat and loves to nibble on everything and everyone!
History - Helios hails from Ayotlán, Jalisco, México and is trained in full 'Charro' by one of the most famous arrendadores in all of Jalisco! He was acquired from Joel's uncle who did not want to give up and who raised him since he was born at his ranch. He was the second addition to SoTeZ who absolutely loves trail rides! In the spring and summer months, his hair shines like the golden sun that his body and muscles even sparkle when the sun rays touch him. Truly a gem!

Characteristics/Temperament - Mare - All white, tall, loves to follow others, sassy but graceful, loves to work on a team, comfortable around other mares and geldings, can come off as cold in the beginning, but is a majestic, beautiful girl!
History - Andromeda is a Pura Raza Española (Spanish Horse) and is registered with ANCCE and hails from a famous horse breeder who specializes in breeding Andalusian horses here in México. She is the newest member of SoTeZ and it didn't take her long to become ingrained in our family! She trots and gallops with that distinguishable Andalusian grace and loves to go on trail rides with the group! A gorgeous girl ready for any occassion or photo shoot!
